Bank Account
One bank account on the canvas — its balance and its booked transactions. You choose the account; the bank supplies the rest.
| Port | Side | What it carries |
|---|---|---|
out | Out | The account's booked transactions as dated records, each carrying the running balance, together with the account's identity. |
What you choose
Only the account. Open the list on the card and pick one. Each row shows what you need to tell accounts apart: the name, the bank, the country, the balance, and five small bars for how busy the account has been over the last five weeks — usually enough to spot the one you actually work in.
If the account is not there yet, Connect more accounts sits at the top of the same list. See Connecting a bank for the steps — your first balances arrive in minutes.
What Fluidly decides
Everything else comes from the bank.
- The balance is the figure the bank reports. Every transaction carries the balance after it, walked back from that figure, so the last row and the bank always agree.
- The transactions are the booked ones, with date, amount, description, counterparty, reference, the bank's transaction code and, for card payments abroad, the original foreign amount.
- The card shows the account's currency and balance, the bank and country, and the activity bars. Click the bank and country to step through the account's numbers — IBAN, then BBAN, and so on — and click once more to hide them.
When something is wrong
The card says so on its face, without being asked.
- A countdown shows how many days the consent has left. Banks limit how long a consent lasts; when it runs out, you approve a new one.
- Yellow means the consent still works but the last update did not get through. It usually sorts itself out on the next one.
- EXPIRED in red means the bank has stopped answering for this account. Reconnect it from the list.
- POOL marks an account in a cash pool. The bank sweeps every entry into the top account, so the balance it reports is always 0 and says nothing about the account's own position.
Inside the compound
Bank Account is a compound: a bank connection, a filter that splits what the bank sends into its parts, a text box for the currency and balance, and the account strip. You use it through its one outside port. Double-click to open it — the pending transactions and the bank's other parts are there — and change what goes out.
Example
Bank Account → Number: today's cash position on that account, as the bank reports it. Bank Account → Forecast → Timeline: the same account carried forward, with the fan of what might happen.
