Control
Toggle
A switch on the canvas. Click it on, click it off; it stays where you leave it.
| Port | Side | What it carries |
|---|---|---|
enable | In | Optional. While it is off, the Toggle is off and cannot be flipped. If nothing is wired to it, the Toggle is always enabled. |
out | Out | On while the Toggle is on and enabled, off otherwise. |
What you choose
On or off. Click the switch on the card to flip it. It stays where you leave it — through a reload and the next morning — until you click it again.
Use it for decisions that last: alerts on, include the planned acquisition, month-end mode. For a single push, use a Button trigger instead.
What Fluidly decides
Nothing beyond the obvious. The output is on when the switch is on and the Toggle is enabled; in every other case it is off. The card turns green or red to match.
Enable
Wire a trigger to enable and the Toggle only counts while that trigger is on. A Calendar on enable gives you a switch that is only live during office hours, whatever position it was left in.
A master switch
Wired to the enable of a trigger, a Toggle pauses it without unpicking the flow. Several triggers can share one Toggle, so one click pauses every alert on the canvas.
Example
Toggle → Range trigger (enable), with Bank Account → Range trigger → Email: the low-cash alert, with a switch to silence it while a known payment run goes through.
