Struct

Opens a structure into its named parts, each with its own port. You choose the parts you need; the structure decides which parts there are.

PortSideWhat it carries
structureInA structure to open — an ERP's balance sheet and income statement, or a bank account's parts.
one per partOutEach part of the structure on its own row, with its value and a port carrying it on.

What you choose

Which parts you want to take further.

Wire in a structure and the card lists its parts as rows, each with its current value. Parts that hold parts of their own open with a click — the balance sheet into assets and liabilities, assets into their lines. Wire from any row's port to use that part on its own: a number, a set of records, or a smaller structure.

What Fluidly decides

  • The rows. They come from the structure: what the ERP or bank account delivers is what you see. Nothing is picked out or renamed for you.
  • What each port carries. A row passes on exactly what it holds, unchanged. A row whose records name a currency offers FX Rates in its arc menu.
  • Parts that go missing. If a new source no longer has a part you had wired, the card says so and keeps the wire; switch back to a source that has it and the connection returns.

Presets

Some rows carry a small menu of ready-made measures. On an ERP's balance sheet it offers, among others, Current Ratio, Cash Ratio and Days Inventory Outstanding. Pick one and Fluidly builds the calculation on the canvas from the right rows — wire its result into a number to watch it, or a Timeline to see it over time.

Example

ERP → Struct, with Current Ratio picked on the balance sheet row: can the company cover everything it owes in the next twelve months? The components that work it out are placed and wired for you, and the answer is on the canvas in one move.
