ERP

One company's books on the canvas — invoices, balance sheet and income statement. You choose the company; the ledger supplies the rest.

PortSideWhat it carries
companyOutThe company's details — name, organisation number, VAT number, contact.
unpaidOutOpen invoices as dated records, split into payable and receivable.
paidOutSettled invoices as dated records, split into supplier and sales.
balance sheetOutThe balance sheet month by month, as a structure you can open account by account.
income statementOutThe income statement month by month, as a structure you can open account by account.

What you choose

Only the company. Open the list on the card and pick one. If it is not there, Connect more companies sits at the top of the same list and takes you through connecting your ERP — Fortnox, Visma, Tripletex, Business Central and others.

What Fluidly decides

Everything else comes from the books. The card shows the company's organisation number and a quiet chart behind it, and the ports on its right edge offer what the ERP holds.

  • Unpaid and paid invoices arrive as records with issue date, due date, amount, currency, counterparty, what remains to be paid and how many days overdue. The count of each sits on the port.
  • Balance sheet and income statement arrive month by month, as structures you can open down to the account.

Opening a port

Every port can be opened into its parts. Open unpaid and you get payable and receivable as ports of their own; open the balance sheet and you can walk down to a single account. Wire whichever level you need — the whole, or one part.

Invoices are a plan, not cash

An invoice's due date is when it ought to be paid. Whether it has been paid is a separate fact, and Fluidly reads it from the invoice, not from the date. An overdue invoice is still unpaid, so it is never counted as money in hand.

Inside the compound

ERP is a compound: the company connection, a filter that splits the books into the ports above, a chart and a text box for the card. You use it through its outside ports. Double-click to open it and change what it shows.

Example

ERP (unpaid) → Forecast → Timeline, with ERP (paid) → paid invoices: expected cash in and out, day by day, from the invoices you already have — each one paid on its counterparty's own habit.
